AGRICULTURE
Our Role in the Agricultural Industry
The advancement in artificial intelligence (AI) is set to revolutionise farming. Self-driving tractors and robotised weeding machines can increase productivity and efficiency. While the initial costs may be prohibitive, the technology is expected to become more affordable, benefiting emerging farmers. Through support from Eco-system role players in Agriculture including designated Business Advisors from reputable Organisations such as Gestaldt, farmers, can be empowered to adopt environmentally friendly practices such as conservation tillage, integrated pest management, and water-efficient irrigation systems. This concerted effort has not only yielded positive environmental outcomes but can also enhance the sustainability of the agricultural sector, ensuring its long-term viability against growing competition.
Gestaldt's approach lies in constant collaboration with all stakeholders within and outside the Agricultural Industry to formulate, implement and evaluate strategies aimed at creating and maintaining the highest level of efficiency. We do this whilst spending time in researching new technologies and approaches to address challenges such as access to finance, land transformation, and the need to keep pace with technological changes.
What we do in the Agricultural Industry
We partner with the agricultural sector to facilitate strategic planning. This is process that helps them define and share the direction their organisation will take in the next three to five years. During the strategic planning process, stakeholders review and define the organisation’s mission and goals, conduct competitive assessments, and identify organisational goals and objectives. The product of the planning cycle is a strategic plan, which is shared throughout the organisation.
